Gervase de Peyer Passes Away at 90

Clarinetist Gervase de Peyer was recognized around the world as a performer, recording artist, and music educator of the highest calibre.

He was born in London in 1926 to a musical family, and began his music career in 1950. He played actively and was a prolific recording artist until 2009. He and passed away on February 4, 2017 at the age of 90.

He will be sorely missed by the music community, though I am sure that his music and influence will resonate for generations to come.
