Clarineat host Sean Perrin joins Mathew James, Andrew Morrow, and Liz Morrison of the TimePoint Ensemble Podcast for a discussion loosely based about podcasting. We also discuss gardening (as you can see I got some beautiful tomatoes from Andrew’s garden!), private teaching, House of Cards, grant writing, working as a freelance musician, and more.
The conversations on this podcast are very laid back and unfocused, which is exactly what makes them so fun to listen to but listener discretion is advised! This episode contains strong language and subject matter that may not be suitable for all ages.
If you’re interested in hearing the “bonus” portion of the show you need to join their “sponsorcast” community, which you can do here on Patreon for as little as $1 per month. All proceeds go towards producing the show, the concert series, commissioning new works, and more.
I hope that you enjoy our conversation!
About TimePoint Ensemble and Podcast
Timepoint is a new music ensemble dedicated to performing the works of living composers founded by Mathew James in 2015. Their inaugural season featured 10 concerts of mind-bending new music performed in progressive atmospheres to sold-out crowds.
The group is fast becoming known for their creative programming, education and outreach initiatives, and for their podcast which allows members of the public to join real-life conversations between musicians. The show doesn’t always stay on topic (if there even is one!) but is sure to entertain and offer some fascinating insight into the lives of musicians. The podcast is released on Wednesdays for Patreon sponsors, and Fridays for the general public.
Thanks for listening!
